They say that Springtime in the Midwest comes in like a lion and out like a lamb. For the gang at Adeo Web – U.S., the year 2019 did just the opposite.
It came in with the faint bleat of a lamb and left with the roar of a lion. And while the home office in Kaunas is celebrating a year of phenomenal growth in Europe and Asia, we’re doing a lot of our own celebrating in the good old U.S. of A. That’s because, besides having a great time doing what we love to do, we increased our revenue a “modest” 600% over 2018 and have enough business booked for Q1 2020 to almost triple our Q1 2019 revenue. While we were a scant one half of one percent of the company’s revenue a year ago, today we’re contributing just over five times that much. Pretty impressive, if we do say so ourselves. So, how did we pull it off?
First of all, we made lots of calls, some cold, some warm and some hot. Not only did this get us some great prospects, but also helped us build a pipeline going into the new year. We went into 2019 with a cupboard that was nearly bare; today, our pipeline is strong and growing, and we have several projects in progress. Second, we attended more trade shows and met a lot more decision makers, while also increasing our visibility in the industry. People are beginning to recognize us as “Adeo Web” instead of “Who are you guys again?” Third, we established partnerships with two of the largest and most highly-regarded Magento shops in the world, as well as one of the biggest web development agencies in North America. And finally, the U.S. Sales and Development teams put all of our efforts into delivering the best Magento migration experience in the industry. As a result, we’re now getting “word of mouth” inquiries from companies all over the U.S.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our colleagues in Kaunas. The developers who belong to our dedicated U.S. project team are always ready and willing to give beyond 100% to make sure our customers’ needs are handled expeditiously. And, with our extended hours in Europe, timezone constraints are minimized. This all adds up to what we hope will be an even bigger 2020. Being one of the few experienced PWA developers in the U.S., we expect to bring the Progressive Web App technology to all of our future Magento migrations and new business acquisitions who want to take advantage of this exciting breakthrough. We expect that having a PWA front-end will lead to a major lift in conversion percentages for our clients, as case studies have indicated. And, we’ll keep doing things the right way, using only in-house Adeo Web professionals to do our development rather than farming out work to parts (and languages) unknown.
Adeo Web has it all, almost. The only thing missing is you, but we can fix that. Just email me and we’ll show you why Adeo Web is the answer to all of your Magento, UX/UI, SEO and integration needs. With your help, 2020 can be a banner year for all of us.
