Last week our team has once again gathered together from all over the world. This time, though, there were big reasons for that. Besides the inevitable – an amazing Christmas party – we also celebrated Adeo Web’s birthday. Our company has turned 10!

To celebrate a decade of successful, fun, innovative, engaging projects, we wanted to make the party special. For such a significant occasion, a regular party wouldn’t do it – we wanted to make something big. As most of our team grew up in the 90s, for this year’s party we chose that special period – and we went all in with the nostalgic details. From period-correct music, to glow-in-the-dark sticks, temporary tattoos and even an arcade machine with all the games that every nostalgic geek fell in love with 30 years ago.
The venue of the party is often the most important piece of the puzzle. This year we held the party in a unique place called the Synagogue. You know you’ve hit the venue jackpot when a hipster photoshoot is held there just before the start of the party. The bohemian-ish location had some surprises ready for us to make the party even better – Christmas lights, an epic swing set and – to our huge delight – a disco ball.

As usual, our colleagues from US has joined us as well. It was great to have an evening with the Adeo Web family together (we missed you, Lisa!).

To keep the party going strong, we called for some help too. An amazing event host Tautvydas with two well-equipped DJs and top-notch bartending staff was all it took to blow this party up (in a good way!).

We have also created some unique nominations to recognize some of our team members from Adeo Web. Don’t worry, we had a proper nominations and votes, it’s not like we just could just make up the rules.

From giant Jenga to chill conversations, from heated discussions to Street Fighter deathmatches and epic dance-offs that lasted for 3 hours straight – this party hit all the checkboxes for our team.

Not surprisingly, the party went on well into the early hours of the next morning, but it definitely left our team with great memories. This is going to be a tough one to top the next year – but we will make sure to do our best, as usual. Stay tuned!
