Adeo Web has been recognized as ‘The most youth friendly company’

‘The answer is youth’ – this is exactly what comes to our mind when talking about the future of tech businesses. Following this statement and other values of Adeo Web, we were just recognized as ‘The most youth-friendly company’ in Lithuania in 2017.

The Republic of Lithuania’s Ministry of Social Security and Labor established this award for businesses and municipalities who are improving the life and work condition for youth in Lithuania.

Adeo Web received the award together with 6 additional companies that are also empowering youth in Lithuania: Art Glacio, CSC Baltic, Swedbank, Ernst & Young Baltic, PricewaterhouseCoopers and TravelDeals LT.

To receive this award companies had to answer more than 30 questions related to youth empowerment inside the company. The recognized companies were noticed because of their involvement in social society activities and taking care of their employees’ development and growth.

As the average age of employees at Adeo Web is 26, we empower our colleagues to take responsibilities and become young professionals in the fields of IT. For example, one of our project managers is 23 years old, our youngest developer is 20 years old, and our UX team lead designer is 26 years old. By giving those responsibilities, we are able to help our employees grow faster not only as professionals but as personalities too.

When working with Magento platform, we do not expect our potential employees to know how to work with it. By hiring young IT enthusiasts, we teach them how to work with Magento and empower them to become specialists in Magento and eCommerce development.

We value a life-long learning experience, that’s why our employees have every opportunity to improve in certification programs or training related to their growing competencies.

Our employees can also improve by sharing their knowledge and experience by being involved in various NGO activities, they often give talks and presentations for pupils who visit our office, and they constantly share their knowledge with new colleagues always improving their leadership skills.

At Adeo Web we understand how important it is to empower youth in Lithuania and the whole World because they are our future and they are the answer to successful businesses and societies.
