Leaders in Household Appliances – Topo Centras
topocentras.lt – the largest technology and electronics retail chain in Lithuania, is characterized by one of its core business values: prioritizing an excellent customer experience. As this guiding principle has been familiar to us, it has led us from the very beginning of our collaboration. With the rapidly changing market, advancing technologies, and growing customer needs, we have consistently aimed to position “Topo Centras” one step ahead in the market.
Since our partnership started in 2016, we developed a more innovative type of e-commerce system, ensuring steady growth in the digital space. The primary priorities of the project were significantly faster system performance, seamless support for a large number of products, and transformation of the user experience. The initial updates implemented increased sales in the very first month of operation.

Project Task
- Ensure stable and fast system performance with expansion capabilities for the future
- Continuously improve e-store performance using additional integrations and tools
- Maintain the website design to reflect modern trends and optimize conversions
Implemented technical solutions
- Adapted the Magento Commerce solution, allowing smooth management of the product assortment
- Used PWA Technology, which helped transform the buyer experience: increased site speed, ease of use, and expanded functionality
- Implemented search system integration, accelerating product search, monitoring user actions, and strategically offering relevant products
- Conducted integration with the internal ERP system, helping to manage company resources more efficiently
- Installed order tracking functionality, a wishlist, a blog, and the internal Topo personal consultant system
- Transformed the shopping process, created a new type of user profile, and improved product comparison
Design and User Experience
Due to the specifics of its business, the ‘Topo Centras’ online store has a particularly large amount of information – different product categories, extensive product specifications, marketing offers, purchasing guides, and more are all included. The complexity of this information became one of the biggest challenges when planning the user interface. The potential buyer not only had to quickly absorb the presented content but also seamlessly reach the main goal of their user journey – purchasing the chosen product.
“Not many can boast such a high volume of visitors and a wide dynamic of already established purchasing habits, as ‘Topo Centras’. We realized that in order to successfully integrate new functionalities, we couldn’t create a radically different operating system, so prior experience and the reasoning behind decisions became very important. Gathering, documenting, and not missing out on all this information was one of the unique challenges of the project.”

The synthesis of these measures allowed “Topo Centras” to elevate electronic commerce to the next level and open up additional growth opportunities for the future. A more efficient system, next-generation search, and more effective user interface solutions ensured that we could see increasing sales already in the first month.
