Beautiful visuals no longer constitute a good design. Long gone are the days when a successful website could be built by simply constructing a menu, uploading a few appealing images and slapping a catchy name on top.
It’s no easy task to stand out in today’s virtual world overfilled with mediocre design. A high quality and sustainable design must be built on researched and comprehensive user experience and interface (UX/UI) solutions. But this still leaves space for interpretations and opinions. So, what is a good design?
Our answer to this question (and many others) is data beats opinion. The most weighted and researched argument, the one with the most supporting data, wins. That is why design created by Adeo Web is always based on user experience, research and testing. That is why our UX/UI design team lead has set himself for the journey to become a CUA – Certified Usability Analyst.
As one might expect, the path to receive a certification recognized worldwide is no easy journey to set off to. Even though our design hero has tons of hands-on practice on user experience testing, analysis and application there is always more to be learned. This has proven to be truth for award of CUA as well. Preparation for the exams took weeks, even with strong knowledge base of the subject.
Certified Usability Analyst is a certification provided by Human Factors International – the world’s largest company specializing in user experience design. Currently there are less than 40 experts with this certification in Lithuania and less than 8,000 worldwide.
We are proud of our Design Superhero and his example, that no matter how much you know – there is always more to be learned.
