The annual LOGIN conference is organized to celebrate the rapidly changing modern world where innovation is welcomed with open hands. This year the conference took place in Vilnius on June 7-8, inviting everyone to visit workshops, participate in discussions, and other various activities.
To make things more interesting, LOGIN 2018 attendees had several subjects to choose from: Business, Creativity or Technology. Whichever one you might have picked, you were sure to find many hidden gems that enriched your knowledge one way or another.
Adeo Web was happy to participate in the event and learn something new on our own. The world seems much bleaker if you let yourself stagnate, and so our company is always excited about self-improvement. Some of the lectures were very interesting to listen to as they were relevant to our interests — ones like ‘Financial UX Mindset For Success in Digital Age’ by Karlis Jonass or ‘Data Ownership – Back to the People’ by Tomer Sofinzon come to mind in particular. These, of course, were only a few of many interesting things you might’ve discovered at LOGIN 2018.
We are especially proud of one of our team members, who had the opportunity to take the spotlight as one of the speakers. Povilas Pečkaitis, a leading UX Analyst at our company, prepared a presentation about the importance of UX, appropriately titled ‘Bring User Back to User Experience’.
One of the things he noted was the role of UX in our current society:
“The exponential growth of business online puts UX in a very important role. Even though more and more business understands the value of good UX design, but lack of proper user research and testing is still surprisingly high.”
“In a simple sense, it’s just going out and asking people more questions, asking people a lot of questions, and making sense of their answers,” Povilas shared his thoughts with the audience.
We hope those who attended came out of the whole experience with new ideas and thoughts. If you had the chance to listen to Povilas, be sure to let us know your thoughts on it. For now, we are logging out until next year!
